Thank you for giving me someone that I can never replace.
Thank you for raising the person I am closest to.
You have spent countless hours shaping and molding your child to become the best person they could be and they are. Your child has helped me through many emotional roller coasters throughout the past few years. I could never ask God for a better person to be my best friend. I love you for creating this wonderful ball of energy that makes me smile every time I see them. I feel as though you have given me, and the world, a present that can never be replaced and I can never say thank you enough. You have given me something utterly and completely irreplaceable.
I have been through many tough times in my life and your child has rehabilitated me and they are part of the reason why I am the way I am. I am happy because your child stands happily beside me. They forgive me when I make dumb decisions. They love me no matter my flaws. They learned this from you and I learned true forgiveness with the help of them and my parents as well. I consider you a second mother.
I can never thank you enough for what you have done for me.
18 years.
18 years is the amount of time for me to find and realize that your child is someone that I want and need in my life. Without them, only the Lord would know where I would be. Your child has been a best friend, a sibling, an advisor, and someone I couldn't imagine my life without.
Thank you
<3
I will forever be grateful.
