First off, I want to start this post by writing a letter to Keaton.

Dear Keaton,

I'm sorry for what had happened to you. No child deserves to go what you went through. I pray that your days get brighter and easier. I'm so proud that you single-handedly shone a light on such a dark topic but, I'm sad that you went through all that torture to do so.

You are beautiful inside and out and do not let anyone tell you otherwise! Your bullies must have insecurities about themselves that they need to figure out on their own or with the help of their parents. Let this be a lesson for you to always know to stick up for the little guy or the underdog.

You have my backing and support on the road to recovery.

Sincerely,

A fellow underdog

Being bullied is no joke.

It is no laughing matter.

Throughout most of my middle school years, I was bullied for my weight. And I know, I could have worked out to lose the weight but, that doesn't matter. That doesn't make the bullying justified.

The fact that someone would feel the need to justify bullying is ridiculous. Bullying is not okay! If you have not seen the Keaton Jones video, I suggest you watch it. I will link it in this post.

I teared up because not only, was he getting bullied but also, the things that his bullies were doing to him. Pouring milk on him, putting ham under his clothes, and even throwing bread at him! Something needs to be done about this.

From what I have read on different news sites, Keaton has not been back to school since the bullying occurrence. Honestly, can you blame him? If I was his mother, I would have taken IMMEDIATE action and do all I could do to get those bullies out of that school!

I know, his mom (and dad) have been in the news negatively lately but, I am not going to touch on that subject. I will say one thing though. If his mom is using his misery and torture for personal gain, she is basically joining the bullies themselves.

I hope this video of Keaton Jones has touched everyone's hearts and made them think twice about bullying or made those who bullied someone think about the wrong they did. You know as well as I do, there will be some people who just don't care. If you are one of those people. You are a horrible human being that needs psychological help because you enjoy the pain of others.

That is enough for me today! Make sure to comment your opinions on the video or the blog post itself.

Thank y'all for reading and make sure you keep an eye out for a new post!! Stay "Neusey"! -Macayla Katlyn Vandiford
