10 Thank You's to Inanimate Objects

WARNING!!! THIS IS GOING TO BE A WEIRD POST!
So, I thought since we tell people "thank you" why can't we tell objects the same? We use inanimate objects literally all the time so, I thought I would pick my favorite 10 things that I use on a daily basis and write a little "Thank You" note to each one. Enough talking about it, let's get on to the "Thank You" notes!
#1: My Bed
Dear Bed,
Thank you for always being there when I need you. I know sometimes I may sleep on the couch, love seat, or even a friend's bed but, at the end of it all, you are my favorite! No matter what junk I throw on-top of you, you always hold up to the weight and pressure of being there for me!
#2: My Phone
Dear Phone,
Thank you for making me somewhat social. You are truly there for about 95% of the time when I'm having an awkward moment. Whether it be in the elevator at school with one or two more people (that I don't know) or even on a date that is going bad, you're there. You keep me up to date about things going on in my friends' lives as well as the news with celebrities and the world. I can watch YouTube on you or text/snap my friends. I'm glad you are there!
#3: Coffee
Dear Coffee,
Thank you for helping me get through those long and treacherous hours of staying up late and studying for an exam or writing a paper. You are super unique because no matter what, you never taste the same and that is what I love about you. Sometimes you don't taste as good as you did the time before but, sometimes it is better. I guess it just depends on who makes you! You keep me up but, I love that about you!
#4: The Bible
Dear Bible,
Thank you for helping me get through some really tough times in my life. Whether it be depression, a breakup, or stress, I can open you to any page, read a verse or so and ultimately feel a lot better. You bring me closer to God every single day and I could ask for a better way to do that than with a book! No matter how you're written, you always seem to touch my heart in different ways.
#5: Makeup
Dear Makeup,
Thank you for always making me a little less ugly each day. I'm not the most attractive person ever so if my skin is looking a little rough, I'll put you on and BAM! I go from a solid 1 to maybe a 2! I love how every single time I put you on, you're different. There is no way that you will be the same! Sometimes I buy a product of yours and it kind of sucks but, sometimes I find my Holy Grail product(s)!
#6: My Blog
Dear Blog,
Thank you for being there for me when I need to get my feelings out. Sometimes I have a rough time letting people know how I feel. When I sit down and write out my feelings and can make everything look pretty good, I feel a lot better not only, because I have let my emotions out but also, because I can make everything look cool with different fonts and pictures!
#7: Music
Dear Music,
Thank you for being my escape from this crazy and scary world. I can listen to anything from my "emo" days to straight up country and I can feel better. You appeal to so many people and I don't know anyone who doesn't like you! There is just something about you that makes life a little bit more bearable each and every day!
#8: YouTube
Dear YouTube,
Your "Thank You" note is going to be similar to Music's. Your are there for me ALL DAY! Whether I am at home getting ready for work, at work and trying to preoccupy the kids, or even late at night when I'm trying to go to sleep. I love 90% of the content that people upload to you. Sometimes you suggest some really strange and odd videos but, you're still pretty great!
#9: Books
Dear Books,
You're "Thank You" note will have aspects from The Bible, Music, and YouTube. You help me to escape reality and with every books I read, I am transplanted into a different reality and I love it so much. The imagery that comes with every word I read is truly an awe! Thank you for all the different scenes and imagery you've given me!
#10: Clothes
Dear Clothes,
Thank you for having my back. Whether it is cold or hot, I'm never naked in public when you are on my back. Sometimes I try you on and you fit great. So, I buy you but, somehow after one wash, you shrink a little or you aren't as nice as you were in the store but, you keep me warm and a little fashionable!
